What music genres are in your collection?
50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, Acoustic, Big Band, Classic Rock, Classical, Country, Dance, Folk, Funk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Orchestra, Pop, House, Punk Rock, R&B, Rock, Soul, Strings, Swing, World and more. We have a huge music library! We have over a million songs in our music library! If for some reason we don’t have something, we will find it.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
We serve the needs of any event: large or small, classy or casual, loud and crazy or elegant and refined. We can provide the perfect music to make your vision for your event come true.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
No. You can give us as much music as you want.
What is your usual wedding attire?
A tuxedo or suit.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
It depends if we can legally download it. If we can’t, then yes.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 9 at the moment.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for a wedding?
4 hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, we offer a free consultation and event planning session for our clients to meet their potential DJ. We want to make sure that your DJ fits the exact vision for your event and that YOU get to pick YOUR DJ.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Of course. We prefer this and it is on our wedding planner packet.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, we provide our own equipment.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We offer all different lighting packages. Please take a look at our lighting/decor page.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We require at least two hours to set up for a basic system setup. If we have to do any sort of lighting beyond a simple lighting tree, we need at least four hours. We don’t require a venue to supply us with any tables.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Yes. It depends on what kind of lighting package you choose.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We can host an entire reception if needed or we can simply make small announcements. All of our DJ’s are professional emcees.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Vendor meal is required for a four hour event or more.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We always have one DJ that is on site that will be our backup in case an emergency comes up.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No. Each DJ only does one event per day. We want to assure that their attention is only on your event.
What is your overtime rate for your events?
$250 an hour for a wedding.
$200 an hour for any other event.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
If the event is more than 30 miles, we will charge $0.50/mile.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
50% of balance due.
